The Summer of Battling Boy Give-Away
BATTLING BOY PRINTS!
For June, First Second is giving away three Battling Boy prints, assumedly signed, through Destroy Comics as the second installment in a series of give-aways (posters, prints, shirts, COMIX) we’re running up until Battling Boy’s October release.
Lifted from a panel in the book, the print is sized overall at 9.75” x 12”.
If you’re an artist, prepare yourself for an announcement next month.

The beards of Star Trek - A poem
O beards, ye follicular protrusions,
That oft serve to highlight interstellar excursions,
Thou wondrous, impeccable, causer of swoons,
That did but create TNG’s second season boon;
So we honour thee beards, from the Riker-Sisko Goatee,
to the alternate Picard’s growth of a future history,
Not forgetting the Klingons and their facial dreadlocks,
Or Gul Macet and his shining Cardie Mutton-chops;
O beards, thou that hast made Spock evil,
Thou protrusions of manliness to show us humble people,
That despite the different cultures of the galaxy,
Beards will always be a beacon of all that is manly.
